Hello, I'm a 2003 Xterra owner from Nashville, TN moving to Tucson, AZ next month to attend the University of Arizona. I'm an active lurker on the boards and wondering if I could become a member of AXC as I would possibly be interested in any runs in southern Arizona. Please let me know what's needed to do this and if there are any costs. Thanks.

Welcome. If you check out the club website www.azxterraclub.com there is information about membership requirements. Basically you need to attend one club meeting and one club Xcursion and then be nominated and voted in by the current club members. We do have some members in the Tucson area. Just ask around, they'll chime in.

Welcome to AZ- Too bad you didn't come just a month earlier. Your new town won't be the same for a long time due to some horrible forest fires. frown

I'm sure Vaca from Tuscon will help you out and caravan to the Xcursions with ya!

Oh, yes, will I!!!

Now I won't have to be the only Tucsononan!

Drop me an e-mail or private message when you get to town and we can try and dig up enough southern support to shift a meeting or two down here. smile

Vaca, thanks for the response. I tried to email you but I think it was rather unsuccessful. I'm headed an hour up the road to Cookeville tomorrow morning to pick up my new 2003. I've planned my road trip to Arizona and will be leaving Nashville on the 16th. I'm anticipating moving in on the 20th and classes don't start till the 25th, maybe we can get together sometime before then. Also, if you have any suggestions on a good self serve car wash in the University area it would greatly be appreciated after my 1700 mile trip. Thanks.

Adding another Wildcat to the group is ok by Shannon and I.

I use the one by my house on River and 1st Avenue, which means nothing to you, probably.

Anyway, yeah, drop me a line directly, vaca@grazeland.com. We'll go wheelin' laugh
