She came in about 5 pm on Monday. 7 pounds, 11 ounces and about 20 inches long. Momma and baby are fine and we brought her home just as she was turning 24 hours old.

Thanks y'all~ Last night was a crash course in newborn parenting. She wouldn't sleep unless we were holding her. We were up from 11-6 this morning trying all kinds of different things to stop the crying.

I hope we get better at this FAST!

Patience young babyhopper, patience.

Sleep when they sleep, walk into work with your shirt partially untucked, stop every few miles on the way in for more coffee.

Go out into the garage and scream.

You will soon be able to warm up a bottle, change a diaper and feed her in such a daze that you will not remember it.

But when she looks up at you the first time and smiles, you will cry happy tears and it will all be worth it.

Congrats. My little one is 16 months now, still not walking yet tho. Had a bit of a scare last month and thought we had another on the way! lol. Not ready for one more yet.
