yep I saw one here in Surprise at a Macayo's I believe it is an X-trail, not sold here in the US, probably came from Mexico.

You can get one in Kuwait for about $90K. Add the cost of the plane ticket, expenses, taxes, terrorist intervention...ah hell. Better off getting one in Canada! (It's only a 2 mile drive anyway). Anyone know if they're selling the Patrol in Canada yet, or will I have to go back to the desert for one of those?

They sell them in Europe too! When I told my friends back home in England that I had an Xterra, that's what they thought I meant. I had to show them a picture of mine to show them the difference.

I used to import cars from Japan to the UK. MR2 Turbos & Nissan Skylines etc. We used to do 1 offs in Containers and just have the container dropped off at our yard, drive the car out and the Container truck takes the empty away straight away. Used to run about £1800, so about $3500 from Japan to the UK for a container.

UK however is a small place and we were only 20 miles from a container port. Add another $700 at least for the trip from LA to Phoenix, unless you drive out to the port and pickup the car from there. Plus you'd then run into problems registering it etc. As that apparently is a pain in the Ass for Imports of cars that are not available here. It's possible to do on your own, but better to deal with a company experienced with shipping cars.

Hell of alot easier in the UK.

I personally want to import an old 1970's Mini Cooper S or Mini 1275GT from England, I love the new mini, but the old ones are fun. Could probably squeeze 2 or 3 of those in 1 container.
