Bren cannot go to the Expedition AZ the following weekend, so we are headed up to Knoll Lake again 9/30 to 10/2. It is the last weekend the campground there is open before they close it for renovations, and I wanna do a little fishing (I paid for the license dammit).
Anyway, anyone who wants to tag along is welcome.

Looks like I will be able to make Fir and Sat for the Expedition the following weekend instead of just a Fri day trip....yay!

Lindsay is now working Tues to Sat, so we won't be able to make it Shame, as I really wanted to get away again before the end of the summer. My buddy who owns a cabin in Pinetop has invited us up there for a Sat - Mon trip.

hey 2xplore how did you get the info that knoll lake is closing i called and enquired about fee and services for the lake and told the forestry service i was going up the 7-8-9 of october and they did not say a thing.Is the tonto national forest closed after the 2nd? or is woods canyon lake and willow springs or christopher creek open.i would really like to get up thier that weekend any info would be great.

Knoll lake camp ground is closed next year for renovation. New bathrooms etc. being build I guess.

Price is $12 a night.

The campground at Knoll Lake closes for remodeling on Oct 2nd. The lake will still be accessible, but dispersed camping only.
Did not check on other campgrounds.
