Got the starter, Tbars, and all the little misc crap back in tonight. Seems to be running well. Took it for a spin around the block and ran it through all the gears and it shifts well and drives like normal.
So for the moment, I'm going to call it a success. I'll monitor the fluids for the next few weeks and make sure nothing looks funky.
Woo!
So total cost: Water Pump, timing belt, misc other belts/supplies: $200 Starter: $170 Transmission: $1200 New computer I built for my buddy who did all the work: $500 Having my baby back: Priceless
Mark

Awesome! Good job doing it on your own. That $500 for the computer is still money saved over labor at the stealership.

did you get the flow figured out and is everything squared away? That is awesome, it is the best feeling when a project is done and you can drive your rig again.

I did get the flow figured out. We did as suggested, disconnected the tubes, turned on the car and waited for the fluid to come shooting out Mark

But, I am anxious to get out for sure. I figure maybe I'll give it a week or two of in town driving just to make sure nothing falls off Mark
