Who's LED are you looking buy."Linky?" I was going to fab up my own since I have been toying with LED's for some reason here lately. I have some old spot lights that used halogens bulbs I was going to convert them.

I was in Pepboys the other day and noticed a new set of lights that were LED, they were also featured in one of the offroad mags this past month as well, smaller square lights which would be perfect for rock lights, I do believe they were around 50 bucks if I'm not mistaken.

The ones DBAX mentioned look pretty sweet.

You can also find some pretty good LED lights at superbrightleds.com and autolumination.com . Their prices may be cheaper than the kits at roundeyes.

I'd be interested in a group buy, if the price is lower than $175.

It said there are 6 of them in the kit, and usually those bulbs are 20 a piece and they are not in an enclosure. So the price is high but it seems right to me.

I've been hunting these for awhile (But I want some UV ones too)... These are on the pricy side. But the MAIN difference is the extra encluse these have. This may relate to their advertising them as industructible.

Other companies sell what looks like the exact same LED for anywhere from $5 to $15 less but do not have that extra clear coating on them. That coating could also only be a diffuser.

The SuperBrightLeds.com link above has them cheaper (and UV ones). I was also looking at unique-leds.com for their motocycle accent leds... LOTS cheaper, but no listing on lumens. So you might have to buy 5 times as many to make up the difference. But they carry UV ones too... I might make a small purchase from them in a week and see how they come out.

Oh... UV leds... Good for spoting scorpions before changing that tire in the dark

Hey... I'm going to get Sheila on a quest to get us a GOOD deal on these.

How many are interested in kits and of what colors, and how many want singles (how many and color) of the ones that "RoundEyes" sells?

Helps to have a list up front of "for sure" wants when askin for great deals. From there we will see what they will do to work with us for a gourp buy. As it stands... Don't expect much difference on price, but maybe we can have a group shipment to save on shipping for now. After we get a couple calls in I'll post up what they have to "offer" us.

Well Sheila has called a bunch of times and left messages and no call backs yet... And she even called the number to order... She said their phone menu seems fishy... Tes sell china dolls, suspensions, LEDS, and some other odd stuff.

Has anyone ordered from them before? Or know a compeditor for the same assembly?

Well i have called the company (round eyes) and left a msg and am waiting for a call if at all to take the order. didnt get that warm fuzzy fealing tho i may take another route on this rock light thing
