Rincon Rd exit off of 93

Of course we'll meet to disembark from Grand/Reems Rd (by McDonalds) at 0830.
Depending on the flowrate of the river, we may or may not head all the way back (possible quicksands) to the playgrounds. Instead, we'll climb the wall to the MISTAKE MINE, and follow the trail up and along the ridge to its eventual exit on Blue Mtn Rd.
Trail from the mine out is 3-4 hours.

hey guys what the terrain like? basically running thru a river bed

Boony-whompin' down the wash, a bowling ball sized river rock area, some dirt hills, than on to a 7-800 ft hill climb on 3-4 switchbacks (4lo only) to an abandoned mine. The mine trail leads up to the mtn ridge and around and along it to an exit a few miles away.

Leave at 0930, or meet?

Looks like it is just us and maybe penski...meet and leave at 0930 from McD's.

Or we could plan on meeting at the Chevron just after you make the right hand turn in Wickenburg at 10am and leave to the trail from there. We could be on the trail by 1015 that way.

Lindsey has an appointment in Wickenburg at 1200 so is just gonna hang in town till then. She said 2 hours is fine, 3 is a lifetime in downtown Wickeburg to hang around.

i hope to be going nowhere near there for a while. i just came from kingman and bullhead cty today. about 4 hours each way making good time..

Jessica has found out about the camping and would really like to get away for a night. I may end up meeting out at the coves afterall..

gonna buy a new oderless tent at big 5 in scottsdale thursday and prep the food / buro's on thursday and pack the truck so as to head out right from work on friday.woooohooo almost time
