As the title says. Next club meeting will be June 6th 7:30pm at PEORIA NISSAN. Has to be Friday instead of Saturday due to the schedule at Peoria.

As voted on and passed at the last meeting, we are going to do meetings every other month. With the price of gas and as spread out as we all are it makes sense. Also, we get a lot of communication done here.

Xcursions are still monthly as always. June Xcursion will be the 21st.

August meeting I will get set up for somewhere on the LOWER EAST SIDE as promised.

I'm probably not able to make this meeting. It takes over an hour driving each way and a half a tank of gas in each truck since me and Sheila can't carpool over there. If I have to spend that much time and a full tank of gas... I'd rather meet everyone at another Xcursion instead.

I understand I don't have to fill the tank on a X at the moment but it's only one meeting and if people can make it out to wheel damn near every weekend then they should be able to make it to a once a month-now every other month- meeting. I'm sure i'll get an earfull for this but in "my" opinion if you have an AZXC sticker on your rigg than you need to take the time to be at and be apart of these meetings. People we know and respect like Tim, Wally and Ted are putting forth an effort to make this stuff happen so...sack up and make the meeting!

Just don't carry it concealed in CA, hate to see something bad happen.
CCW's out of state are not recognized in CA. heck it's hard to get one. To get one you have to show that your life is in imminent danger or have security certificates allowing you to have one.

Thanks for the lesson on California's unconstitutional legislation.

To set you straight: It is not hard to get a CCW in CA. I got one when I was 21, no problem; My dad has had one for 15 years and he seems to have a lot of friends that have them and they are not in iminent danger. My best friend just got one, as did his girlfriend. Sounds like the impossible DOES happen.

And if it comes down to my life or abiding by CA's skewed laws, I'll go ahead and carry concealed and fight that in court, at least I'll be alive. It is illegal to even bring a firearm in to Oakland...which has some of the most dangerous 'Hoods' in the country. Good thing the thugs follow the law.

Cops don't protect anyone or anything, they are merely the clean-up crew when it comes to crime, unfortunately. They write tickets too, I guess.
