AWSOME footage!.. man.. i am still amazed that it didn't flippy! .. man playing it in slow motion, it is is back left tire's sidewall that keeps it from flippin. Goodthing it didn't pop! bet it would of flipped if he was aired down.. which he wasn't

I know it's not the thought that's running through your head at the time, but that's about when you say "damn the damage" and just roll on down without the brakes.

Of course, that's easy to say looking at it from this angle. Might have made things worse in the long run. I agree with the tire saving the trip on over.

Okay, now I've never been wheelin and that looks like some scary shit for the Chev owner. But if it had rolled the dude standing there might have been a little flatter. Is it normal for someone to be stood downhill taking photos like an idiot? lol

Um.. that is what we call a spotter. :rolleyes: Thats the guy who gives the drivers directions on which line to take.

I know it's hard to see and I've never even been to this location, but was this guy on the right line?

We had gone down this slope 3 times already on a different successful line, but the spotter wanted to try another line that he thought looked doable.

If that Chevy had flipped, the spotter would have most likely been badly hurt. Keep that in mind when you're spotting.

Something to also remember, your truck has some kind of passenger cage and is made to protect you, don't stick any extremities outside the passenger cage.
