I don't know if any of you remember us but, we were trying to get an X a few months ago and it just didn't happen. Well we finally sold the Tacoma and picked up a 2005 Solar Yellow 4X2!!! Its awesome and we love it. Sooo how big of tires fit on this biatch???

Congratulations on your Solar Yellow 4x2 ( ). 33's won't be the problem on your '05. It'll be finding wheels that'll fit the new Xterra hubs.. Bring it to the next meeting, or plan on the trip to Flagstaff

i know, i know, 4X2. But its really my girlfriend's car and she couldn't afford the bigger payments . Here's a pic of our cars together:

Nice. I love the new X's in yellow. I think I might go for the Yellow, rather than the 'Night Armor' that everybody seems to want. I figure Yellow won't show the pin striping quite so badly as a dark color.

If the 05 2WD is as capable as the 00 - 04, I don't think you will be disapointed.

Does the 05 OR have a rear locker? What model did you end up with??

Its the S with the power package. IIRC the only model that gets the locker is the 4X4 Off Road

Oh, one more thing... Is there an easy way to add an iPod to the stock headunit? Since the new X has an optional in dash 6 CD changer there won't be a way to "trick" it with the stack cable. I'm also lookin' for a good way to mount some HELLAs on her.
