I'm thinking about selling Xtoy and getting a larger 4x4 such as the Armada. Was wondering what experience others have had with the two dealers in Tucson - Jim Click and Thoroughbred. I guess Lawley in Sierra Vista might be worth considering but they are nearly 50 miles away.

dave and xtoy - selling two vehicles, buying one

PS - anyone have any comments on the Armada?

JohnnyX would be the guy to speak with. He owned an X and now owns a 4x4 Armada. [ThumbsUp]

I love my Armada. It does have a few things that need to be taken care of under warranty though (being a '04).... Don't even consider an '04, go for the '05 or '06 when it comes out. They fixed a lot of little "stupid things".

As for mileage, I get about 15 around town, up to 18 or 19 on the fwy if I go "easy".

Mine has the captains seats in row #2 so it only holds 7 instead of 8. smile

The 5.6 L engine rocks. It seriously goes like a bat out of hell.

Oh, depending on what features you like, you may lean towards the "LE". Personally I'd chose the Offroad edition, but I found mine at auction for cheap so I couldn't pass it up. smile

Try calling Doug Vernon at Jim Click. He is the
Internet Sales Manager there (520-403-8651). He went above and beyond for me during my Xterra search. Unlike the other dealers in PHX, he was willing to bring one in from out of state for me.

Yeah, have had good luck with the service department there. At Jim Click that is.
