Well, Bren and I are gonna head up there tomorrow (Sun 2/26), as we decided to get outta town for the day. She was looking forward to going (and so was I), and since we could not make the Saturday trip.
Anyone wanna tag along, we are meeting up with K4L and Defibvt at 9:30 at Carefree/I17 Chevron.

Just got back home, and a great time had as usual. Well.......except for the 130 mile detour thru Prescott/Congress/Wikenburg, due to fatal accident on the I17 at mile 138. Maybe I should have waited for them to reopen the freeway, but no way I could sit there for 2 hrs. Thought of Bloody Basin Rd instead, but had no idea what kind of shape it was in.

cool

Yeah, Sedona was awesome! The drive, on the other hand, was absolutely horrible. Not to mention the $75 ticket I got mad . Anyways, heres a few pics I took:

Sweet! (Well, except for the ticket and the fatal accident...I'll save my rant on the THIRTEEN PEOPLE in the minivan w/o kids in carseats for another thread so I don't mess up this one.)

As always, Sedona rocks. [ThumbsUp]

Considering we were eating steak by the time you got back to the I-17 the wait was well worth it. BTW...for the record Linda drove all of Broken Arrow. She did an awesome job.

I thought of you guys when I heard about that Minivan wreck on the news. 4 / 5 hour delays I guess they were talking about! frown

Did you read where Alan sat at the Chevron at Carefree/I17 from 8:00 to 9:30, waiting for you?......He thought you must have decided not to go...

Honestly, at the meeting (and beforehand) when I found out no one was going to be going (except Alan, and that's the part I spaced..) we left the meeting and headed out for a long drive in the desert. It turns out we got a late start to the day (prolly passed the Chevron sometime around 9:30) and did all three trails, then had lunch at Picazzos (which was very good). Sorry Alan if you're reading this shocked ..
