Hey all, I am heading up to Sedona to run BA and Soldier Pass on the 23rd. As I posted earlier, my bro is coming in to town and saw the pics from out last trip and really wants to go. I am trying to sell him on moving down here.

After the trails, we will head in to Prescott late afternoon for some eats & drink at Prescott Brewing Co. and to see the town lights. Heck we may even hit some stuff outside of town. I plan to hook up some Xmas lights on the X and make the rounds in Prescott (which will take all of 5 minutes) before heading out.

Anyone who wants to come along for a fun casual day of wheelin' and some good food/drink in Prescott is more than welcome. The more the merrier! Should be a quiet day up on the trails that weekend.

I plan on leaving the Chevron at I-17/Carefree at by 10:00am maybe earlier if my schedule changes. I really don't want to be the only X up there so someone saddle up and ride with me! Call if any questions:

480-251-7976.

As much as I'd love to, some OT came up at work & I just can't pass up the extra cash.

I'm just sorry I won't get to meet you in person SoldierX & thank you for your service to our country.

I'll most likely be there. I'm surprising Bren with a Sedona massage that day, so after I drop her off I'll meet up at the trailhead. Say, 11:30?

-Salad of watercress, endive, green apple, bleu chz, and walnuts w/ Sherry viniagrette
-Roast butternut squash soup
-Prime rib of beef w/ 5 peppercorn-horseradish crust (slow roasted 8 hours) and Yorkshire pudding
-Potatos Dauphinoise

Just a little something the Missus throws together at the holidays

Have fun y'all!! [Wave]

Awesome - someone other than me cooks Yorkshire Pudding. I'll be cooking Yorkshire Puddings to go with Christmas dinner. Covered in Gravy they are heavenly.

Got room for another? laugh I'd drive from Texas for a spread like that.... We had baby endive leaves filled with gorgonzola, dried cranberries, and sugar-coated pecans at our wedding reception, and I think I ate a whole tray.

You cheeky git. That book's at least 4 pages, you must have read the 1st edition.

For anyone living In or Near Tempe, here's a great place for a British tradition: http://www.cornishpastyco.com/

Myself and a neighbour (2006 X) were planning on running BA on Friday 22th but the forecast is for 60% chance of rain - he wants to have good weather with blue skies for some scenic photography, so we might defer until Saturday or Sunday.

It will therefore depend on his work schedule but if it is Saturday, we might meet you all up there, we will be up in Sedona probably for the sunrise on top of the airport mesa and grab some breakfast at the wee airport restaurant.

If Sunday, then another neighbour with a 2003 X might want to go as well.

One last thing, it you ever decide to have a club meeting south of the US60, these guys would be interested in attending - something to think about in your Jan 07 meeting.
