I took a few pics before we got caught up in trying to get caught up.



At first I thought it looked 'wrong' without the roof rack, but it grew on me. IIRC, Mark is planning on a Calmini style rack similar to Dan's old one.

Mark did a great job as spotter, as well as jacksman & tire changer. I wonder if he cooks & cleans too...

That's the dirty summamabitch that ate my tire. I avoided it on the way in to the crack, but I must've spun it around while backing out & caught the sharp end.

whats the hub bub ....looks like you could do 40mph threw there.

Heck, in exchange for great spotting, I will cook and clean myself! I could always blame my tires, but with some of the lines I was taking, there was no way I would get out un-"modified" without some great spotting.

I did do 40-50 up one wash looking for everyone. To no avail unfortunatly.

Good pics dude! Thanks for posting 'em up. When you get sliders and tires I will be more than happy to accompany you back out there. When it cools off of course...little warm from here on out.

Ok... So the biggest newbie out there was Sheila, my girl. This was her first trip driving her new truck that required a 4x4. The truck is 3 weeks old (oh... and my X was only 1 week). See... The bolder that I got stuck on, she got over it like a pro. I Guess I need more practice.

Ouch... That was close... I lost paint on this rock. With the help of some spotters and a couple rocks piled up she cleared this with nothing to spare.


Ok... So we thought the bypass was the harder path... Guess we were wrong.

Look what we found under the flat tire that had the truck sitting on it for a good 20 minutes. And he was still wanting to fight.

Man, that red truck needs a lift!

Yep it sure needs a lift Any suggestions? I'm looking at the AC Mega Crawler Package... But the price tag stings.

But we have to pay off the armor that's on order first, well that and furniture we bought when we got our first house in January.

So hopefully that will be her Xmas present. She did end up breaking off part of the light kit on the tow bar too.
