Got my truck out a couple weekends ago for the first time in months (off-road). Buddy of mine had just picked up a Heep to replace his totaled Tacoma and wanted to get wet, dirty, muddy or some combination thereof.

We had fun in this water crossing - one we've longed to try but one or both of us had 4x2s every time we'd been there previously. This time, no problem.

Splashy!

I got lots of practice in Florida. Somewhere I have a good pic of crossing water there that was up to about the bottom of my headlights.

My buddy in the Jeep was wondering how I didn't have any water in my floorboard. It's all in pushing the wake ahead of you.

I tried a couple of times but didn't get any takers. And that at about 2/3rds of blue book value. So I just decided to keep it and made it my toy instead of the Veedub.

Plus, trading the wife's X in on an Altima made the gas bill a lot lower.
