You didn't look hard enough...

Bumpers, tire carrier, skid plates, diff skid plate, axle truss, rock sliders, roof rack, lift kit, exhaust.

Most people haven't seen the Calmini parts installed anywhere, or all in one place.

Steve postponed his annual Rubicon trip to make GOX, and spent 100's of hours getting Project X ready, give him some credit.

What trashed Calmini bumper?
Oh, you must mean the special "stength test unit" Steve had installed and tested in the harsh environment of Moab!
Well thank God Steve tested it and affirmed his suspicion that X owners will need a stronger bull bar than is currently available.
Better his test truck than yours or mine, eh?

Uhhhhhhh....yeah..it didn't make it. At least that kid in Seattle posted blurry pictures of his truck. And the smoke was real instead of being up our asses...

What were you expecting? Parachutes? "Traction Bars"? Perhaps some nifty tear away sway bars? How about 400HP? OHHH..
Christ people, spew your guts here and now with your better ideas and suggestions! Maybe you'll strike it rich and maybe, just maybe, you'll lay a big solid shit. At least Calmini and Nissan made an effort to acknowledge a very small percentage of their customers.
Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. I suggest you quit trying to teach and DO.

Blow me!

The 4x4 Evo truck was there. His name was Brendan. I think his xoc name is something like cndanavr or something like that. Je had the arb, calimini rear bumper, air lockers and an arb roof rack. He was a nice guy.

Here goes.....

I've ordered the rear tire carrier

Now put that in your pipe and smoke it!

So, if I understand correctly, Calmini did both their truck and most of the project X truck? VERY IMPRESSIVE!

Just like he loves the tens of thousands of people that died in the terrorist attacks today. Yeah, that must be real comforting...

Religion is the reason behind more deaths than any disease or natural disaster. I want nothing to do with it.

No...man and his insatiable selfishness is responsible for acts such as these; religion is merely another outlet for it. Any thing can be perverted by mankind, no matter how good or pure it begins.
I personally believe in a good God, who loved us enough to send His son to pay the price for our selfishness, and I can only imagine how heartbroken He must be to see mankind do this to each other. I pray for those whose lives have been irrevocably changed.

May I respecfully request that Religion discussions not cloud the board? Everyone has an opinion, not right, not wrong. Each is free to believe what they want BUT respect the other persons belief.

Off soap box now.

I agree, if a discussion on religion gets going, it will get very nasty, very quickly. I've seen it happen on other boards.

I will try to keep my views to myself; might not be a bad idea to do the same.

Or the rear one? I couldn't get comfortable under the truck being in the gravel and mud, but it didn't look like the rear attachments were that solid.

Sure were a lot of rumors going around at GoX about all the equipment. Some stuff broke, no it didn't break, it bent, they didn't even have the part so how could it have been broken, etc. etc.

I thought having everything in one spot with all the owners together would clear up some of the misinformation but it seems as clouded as before GoX. confused

I thought the rear attachments looked great!
They were 3/8th inch steel I believe, can anybody back this up?
And they went straight through the bumper and were connected to the frame.
They were as sturdy as the front tow hooks in my opinion, the only thing that could bend them would be a very strong pull from the side, and even then there would just be a little distortion.

Just my impression.
