Just tell them you have to start a week later. Show them the website and pictures and explain that allowing you to go to GOX will increase your productivity when you return.

Think that will work to get vacation time in the military Ian???

On a serious note though, I'm begging for the time. 2 guys are putting there vacation time in at the same time, so Im trying to pursuade them that maybe they just want to take their time a week earlier than mine.

I'm already getting there later than they expected, they were none to happy about it either. Ah well, this gives me a year to save up vacation time and make the X a little more trail worthy. Have fun guys, looks like a blast. And the offroad stuff looked fun too...

I'll be leaving MS. And I'm just 23, so at least we will have a few young people. By the way, what was the ratio men/ women last year? ACtually, single women/men? My guess would be very low I definately would like to caravan out there.

Hey this is a wheeling, drinking, (okay non drinking for some) event. You trying to hook up with someone? There was some of that last year at GOX. But, don't get your hopes up.

Bring someone along, it would be a really good test of a 'budding' relationship. 1 week in a vehicle with either make or break the relationship.

Just make sure if you bring another guy with you that you declare your sexuallity right away. That way things don't get confusing when people jump to conclusions. Things to avoid, two guys riding together and one of them brings s'mores to a campfire. Xrock and hotairx can attest to the confusion.
