All my friends have jeeps... which is nice to have people to 4 wheel with, but no comparison to my vehicle.. i'm looking for owners who might like to take themselves off pavement

This forum is for the annual Gathering of Xterras event in Colorado.

You might want to try posting this in one of the regional club forums.

It depends on the Jeep really. I have both an Xterra and a 93 Wrangler. From what I've observed with the 2 is that the Xterra Is smoother offroad obviously, the Jeep climbs alot easier, but the Xterra ain't too far behind it, the Jeep glides through mud easier, the Xterra does as good as my wrangler, if not better, as far as uneven obstacles that require articulation (Xterra is longer, doesn't use all of it's flex to get over uneven terrain). And by the way, this is a stock Xterra on 32s and a 4 inch lifted Wrangler on 33s being compared. Other owners with both might see things different, but thats my personal comparison. I still love them both!

kat, what kind of jeeps are they?
i've gone with a cherokee a few times but the trails we ran at that time weren't the best to test.
just curious is all.
