Headin' to Vancouver, for business, in August.
I'll have my evenings free so I'm lookin' for a good "locals" music & bar scene. Local bands, indie, punk, ska type stuff. Good beer, live music and cool folks.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be kindly appreciated.
Also, any vegetarian restaurants in town?

Vancouver, BC or Vancouver, OR? There are probably a few more in other areas of the US as well...

Yeah there are vegeterian restaurants here, like any big city. You think all we eat is moose meat and maple syrop up here?

There are tons of things to do in Vancouver. Too many to list. Your best bet it to simple do some google searches on Vancouver and events and stuff, and follow your nose.

Are you kidding? Vancouverites are too stoned to remember anything that far back. The only way you'll get beat up here is if you jaywalk. But seriously now, these people are all pacifists and too weak from eating nothing but tofu and drinking wheatgrass to put up a fight. Come on over, conquer and pillage. We'll probably name a park after you when you leave.

Yes. Now are there any good one? Who knows. I've been to one so far it sucked sea weed.
