I've convinced my dad into letting me get the Calmini exhaust laugh but he just won't fly with the JWT pop-charger [Argue] . I don't see what he's concerned about, it's my money [Huh?] . I was just wondering if one of you guys could help me on what I should tell him, besides it increasing airflow. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys. [Wave]

I had problems with the JWT pop charger here at 5000 feet. Performance dropped off and low end torque was gone. It also sucks a lot of hot air from under the hood since it doesn't have a heat shield.

You're better off yanking the resonator out of the wheel well and going with a drop-in style filter, but for what gains you end up with...might as well spend that cash more productively.

A heat shield can be fabbed fairly easily for the JWT. I do however always have a concern about sucking water with this system.

If you fabbed up a heat shield for the pop charger, wouldnt be close to the K&N filtercharger kit?
And why arent people concerned about sucking water in with the K&N replacement?

I wouldn't be any more concerned...if water gets that high you're screwed anyway. I've had both, but went with the modified stock box to cut down on cleaning, heat soak, noise and unwanted dealer scrutiny. [Wave]
