Gentlemen (& ladies ofcourse)
Last night I installed my new Gibson cat back exhaust and also my home made air intake system with a K&N and custom made polished aluminum tube.
Anyway, this morning while driving to work I realized that my idle Rpm is around 1300 now.
Is this normal due to the engine having to struggle less to take in air and get rid of it ?
If so how do I bring the idle back to 700 ?
Let me know please.
Thanks

Did you reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for awhile?

I did not.
DO you think that will straighten things out?

It's a very good possibility, and besides, it couldn't hurt anything... Let me know if it works out...

Also check to make sure all the sensor connections are still plugged in. Switching out the intake might have jarred something loose.

Silly me !
I did in fact disconnect the battery for 24 hours but after doing that I remembered some other tinkersing that I had done.
Well it turned out that when I was messing around with the cruise control cable I kinda made it too tight. Doing that prevented the throttle position to fully return .... Daaaaaaa
So anyway, I loosened the cruise control cable and she purs right around 700 Rpm like she should.
Thanks for the advise guys.
