Okay folks....I am moving from Alsaka to Florida in November. I am looking into getting a LoadWarrior so I can throw as much on top to save room inside.

Would a roof cage with heavy duty "RubberMaid" (square hard ABS plastic red/blackish ones) containers cause much resistance...like the mpg is not bad enough in my X.

I have an '01, 3.3V6, no real mods just a K&N, synthetic oil, Bosch platinum plugs and a gibson catback exhaust.

Any advice would be greatly apreciated. I do plan on getting a cargo box that hooks into the trailer hitch reciever too.

Thanks!!

In short YES.

I usually have a Thule roof-top carrier on my X at all times because it's a nice place to put muddy biking gear or wet kayaking gear. However I do notice a sharp drop in MPG with it on and the box I have is one of the most aero ones on the market.
