general question

sat i put a new set of tires, 31" x 10.5 x 15 bfg a/t's and it seems my truck runs better....meaning better mileage, better steering, better rpmage, better acceleration...my old tires were 265 70 15...
is this just me?

It just feels better with decent tires...the one's it comes with are crap.

Except the 265/75-15 was the BFG Long Trail, not the General Grabber...

the long trails are not as bad as the grabbers by any means. if you want to have a discussion about offroad capability then you guys are talking about the wrong tires all together. the rugged long trails are way better rated against the the grabbers, regardless of size or what year xterra they were on.
