do they really do anything?

They do whistle.

Buddy, do NOT get one....This is not something I just heard. This is something I am saying from experience. I bought one and it whistles BIG time. Sounds like a grandma's caddilac that screeches in the parking lot.

We have mult-port fuel injection...not a carb or throttle body injection system (like a glorified carb...) ...so, adding a throttle body SPACER, is pretty much pointless.

You CAN enjoy some extra noise...and therfore sometimes the IMPRESSION of more power, etc...but there's no basis in engineering for ACTUAL GAINS.

So - SURE they DO work...sometimes, for some engines....but NEVER for us.

You drive a piece of wood around? 4x2, but that aside, if your looking for sound and power, look into a new intkae, AEM/K&N/Volant/AirRaid...etc, best bang for your buck.

Yes, TBS is a bad idea, I know from experience. Just not worth it, pay 90 bucks for a whistling sound.....spend the 90 bucks on gas.
