I have a quick question for the supercharged xterra owners. Looking in the driver's side mirror I pulled off at wide open throttle and noticed a faintly apparent black haze exiting from the tailpipe. Now I know in lamens terms that black smoke is gas and blue is oil. Thankfully I did not see any of the latter. I have a 2.35 pulley, K&N airfilter, and 14K miles. After that I pulled off the road and checked out the tail pipe; consequently their was a more apparent black ring around the tail pipe from what I believe is a "rich fuel/air mixture." What is your opinion in my newly found problem, and is it a serious situation. While driving at reasonable throttle I have never witnessed this.

The fuel air map is a bit on the rich side at WOT to help prevent knocking.

I have a black ring around my tailpipe as well i have 3100 miles?? anyone else have this?
