somethings wrong with that dyno.. or your truck..

i dyno'd my 2000 at 76k and the curves weren't nearly that crappy. i'll try to get my sheets scanned and hosted.

Yeah, I was surprised by the results myself.

If anyone else has gotten their truck dynoed, please let me know what you're getting. Scanned graphs or raw numbers are fine. If everyone else is getting much more power, I'll have to get the X re-dynoed somewhere else to see if I really have a problem.

Actually...

I just found another post in this forum where a dude posted his SC dyno sheets, and he was also losing about 50hp and 50ft-lbs from manufacturer's advertised numbers. What a disappointment...

Wait are we talking Flywheel Vs, Wheel? Dyno is Wheel, Factory Dyno is Flywheel.

A 20% decrease is somewhat more than expected across all lines of automobiles.

Lighter Flywheels Help make that power better, Maybe a Carbon Fiber Driveshaft? Who knows.

But ~20% from flywheel to Wheels is normal.

Guys, there's nothing wrong with his truck. The dyno he used took HP and torque at the wheels where any car will have less power due to loss than at the crank. This is normal.

126 rwhp? What a joke. Makes me reconsider buying one.

Took a second look. Damn that thing is lean from the factory. What's the compression ratio?

133 hp and 170 lb-ft when I did mine back in the summer of 2002, I think it had ~35K on it. The curves are around somewhere...
