I have done a lot of research on this air filter here at XOC but I am having problems finding the answer I need. I know there are several supercharged xterra's running this intake but I would like to know what modifaction (if any were made). I called to order this system but they responded with we do not make a kit for the supercharged xterra, we will need a donor X. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your warranty up?

There is no way I would do ANYTHING that could cause Nissan to question my warranty on the SC - there have been some guys here who had theirs replaced right at the 30K mile mark.

If the warranty is up - knock yourself out, but with a supercharger there isn't much need for change in intake.

i do not know about the volant but i have the k&n on mine and i like it. i did not do any permanent mods to install it. as far as the warranty goes, if anything happens i can switch it back to stock before taking it to the dealer.

Did you need to remove the resonator when you put your Volant in? I ask this 'cause I thought from your reply that you had put the one of the High Flow K&N air intake systems in as opposed to the flat OEM filter replacement. Yes?
