i was looking around and could find anyinfo
could anyone jsut give me some steps ..i knows that its really simple and take a bout 10 secs but i just want to get it done right the first time thanks

ok got her installed and was just wonder if someone could post some pics of one installed with the lid closed cuase it feels like mine is not shut all the way and also that its slid over to the left(towards the driver if your standing on the driver side. jsut wanted to make sure it was seated right. i cant hear any whining so i guess its good but i was just wonder

Well, if you are talking about the drop in K&N filter, it's a much tighter fit than the OEM air filter and be careful not to break off the clamps!

I had to put it on a couple of times until I was convinced it was on correct as it didn't seem to fit well!

It ends up being a very tight fit with the K&N, like the others said dont break the clips.

I had to trim my K&N some to get the box to close fully. I had to thin out the outer portion that the lid closes onto. Now it fits like a glove.
