Well on a sport cars like Corvette for example I could lift or lower the car with the stock leag spring bolts. Isn't there something simillar on Xtera?
Also as the topic says I have seen many times that car haights increase with change of better shoks? Shouln't I get at least an inch of suspension increase in shock change?

You can crank your torsion bolts up and get a few inches out of the front but unless you get air shocks I don't think that a shock alone will raise a vehicles height.

The shocks don't support the vehicle's weight, therefore they have nothing to do with ride height.

Shocks only control the damping when going over bumps. They do nothing for ride height.

Keep in mind the more you lift the front w/ the t-bars, the quicker steering/drive parts will wear (CV joints, etc.). I wouldn't go over 1.5".
