I have a friend with an 01 fronty. he has customized a lift that is 14in sl. i know it will hold up, he drove on it for about a year. my question is, would $2800 be a good deal on it? he is gonna give me the lift, 44's and his front axle. all i would need then is a t-case, a way to shift and drive shafts to convert into 4x4. i know its kinda far fetch, but jus wondering what you all would think. by the way if any of you would like the lift, i can try get some pics, and post them. the reason he is selling the lift is cause he has built a new one, and it is a hell of alot higher. all custom. im 6'1 ad the bottom of the truck is up to my nose. plus he put airbags to lift it another 8 inches.

Big isn't bad, but that big, just isn't usefull. It'd be all for looks, no matter what he says.

If you're into looking big, but not fitting on any real trails, then go for it. If you really want a useful 4x4, then trade it in, and get a 4x4.

It's the silver XE-V6 King Cab right? I have seen that truck driving on 225 and I-45 a couple of times. I would love to see more pics of it just because I have not been able to see it stopped or up close!

I think mud-bogging and beach-running would be about all you could do with that truck just because of how tall it is. It still caught my eye every time I saw it on the highway though.
