Can anyone explain to me why a 2002 SE 4x2 has a recommended tire pressure of 30psi and the 2003 SE 4x2 has recommended tire pressure of 35psi? What the hell is different that would require an extra 5psi???

Before you comment Yes I understand that the 2002-2004 SC models with the 17" wheels have recommended tire pressure of 35psi. whether they were 4x4 or 4x2's and the 2002-2004 4x4 models whether they were XE, SE or SC's models had 35psi rec press. [Too much XOC]

My guess would be - different tires. However I'm not sure if that's the case.

Is the tire width the same? Nissan may also want to give a mpg advantage to the 4x4, and a comfort advantage to the 4x2.
