I did a search on torsion bars and now Im a little concerned about the trail damage on my torsion bars.. Should I get new ones and will the Calmini work if I only have a PML... Here is a picture..

I've been wondering about that too. What would happen if it decides to snap at highway speed? Would the X do a pole vault over the torsion bar? Would it punch through the floor?

the result wouldn't be good, but I don't know if it would be that dramatic laugh

all the aftermarket T-bars will work with no lift, PML, or 3" (or any variation in between)

thanks for the response ChefTyler, but what Im wondering is does this put my torsion bars at a greater chance of failure.. Or is this something that everyone has and I shouldn't be too concerned, maybe something down the road I can replace and throw some skid plates on to protect them...

Under the powdercoating, the bars are almost spirally wound. I've scraped mine enough to see that, and they've suffered none the worse. smile

That damage doesn't look like much...

Once the bars are cranked they will get the spiral look once the coating is scraped off on a good trail.
