Has anyone looked at these overload springs (http://www.supersprings.com/) to prevent bottoming on the 2nd gen X? Very pricey ($287) but I was looking at them for towing a small trailer (~2000 lb). I was wondering if these would overstress the main leaf. They look similar to the Hellwig overload spring but the Hellwig site lists nothing for the X. I am still considering the Timbren springs or AALs.

Thanks,
Rich

look into getting timbrens. I have them on my second gen X. I ran them for about a month before I put a shackle/coil lift on. You will find a 10000% difference.

pwr,
Just put a lift on it and be done with it. Timbrens are doo-dads. The AC coil/shackle lift is as cheap as they come and fixes the bottoming problem immediately. It will improve offroad performance as well.....doo-dads don't!
