Interesting...they only show them on a Frontier in the pics.
On the new X, there's a big assed plastic (Vapor) box in the D side rear fender that the shackle looked like it would hit on flex...
I was helping a bud try to figure out where to move that box to, to make revolvers fit....
I also noticed the new shackle has a boomerang shape on the upper link...possibly to compensate/correct for that.
The site says 1.75-2" of lift...but the old X revolver section says it gives 1.25" of lift on the old X's version...but the old X's version gives half that amount of lift...so the new one probably also gives half of the claimed lift as well?
(They confuse lift with length longer than stock...why, I don't know.)

I'll tell you right now, the problem you are going to have with the 2nd gens and revolvers is the parking brake lines. Mine are already stretched to their limit when I'm flexed.

I just fixed Charlie's brake lines...(And breather, and ABS, etc...) his were really stretched too...just undo all the clips holding the lines, make slack, and re-attach as appropriate...it made more than enough slack to compensate for the extra droop.

If I use the revovler shackles-what does this mean exactly? "New wheels with negative 3.75" backspacing recommended."

It means that as the live axle drops on one side, if the other side is stuffed into the well, the stuffed side pivots against the frame rail. So - less BS makes the tire stick out from the frame side further...making it better able to clear the frame on stuffage, when the OTHER side is fully drooped. It ALSO means that the tires will RUB during all OTHER types of compression travel...as the outside edges of the tires will hit the fenders on the way up. So - 3.75" of BS, vs the 5.5" of BS for the OEM rims, means 1.75" of extra space from the frame...way more than you need to clear BTW. I have Revolvers, and I need maybe 1/2" more clearance on the frame...it just rubs on opposite droop now, no other time, and not enough to stop the tire. A 5" BS would probably work better...of course. look at the tire size they say you can riun with it...its the same size that you could run w/o a lift anyway... So you can ignore THAT part of the recommendation as well, as well as the erroneous amount of lift they claim, etc. The Revolvers work great though...and are worth getting....even if the claims accompanying them are wrong.

Did anyone else other then myself notice that the wheel spacing is exactly the same as it was for the first gen? I don't think that they even make wheels for our rigs with that kind of back spacing yet. It's already hard enough to find wheel that just plain fit.
