This is probably a stupid question, but I need a little clarification. When looking at the tir rod assemble from the front of the vehicle is the inner TRE the one connected to the centerlink? I'm replacing all 4 of mine this weekend and just want to make sure I put the right TRE in the correct position. Thanks.

Maybe this will help wink It really does not matter which is inner and outer, to a certain extent, if you are replacing both. They just need to be opposite threaded so the adjuster works. Maybe others will refute my post but here ya go:

Tie Rods uses:
Moog ES3661 outer TRE
Moog ES3660 inner TRE

The stock Lower Control arm:
uses the 2000-2004 Frontier replacement ball joint after removing the big nut that holds it on. NAPA part# NCP2601596
