Just posted on the Best in the Desert website...

Unfortunately, the Xterra raced by Xterraracer is shown as 119th out of 119 trucks or buggies, and 4th out of 4 in class 3000, garnering 50 points...
What happened to the truck and why it was racing in class 3000 instead of its usual class 3100 I will leave to Dave (owner of the vehicle) to explain as is his right...

On the positive side of things...Dave's friend and racing partner Alan Gerber, who races a class 1000 buggy which shares the same shop as the Xterra and is driven in part by Dave's brother Doug Blakely (who we had the pleasure of coming through our pits while working for Goodyear/Locosmocos) finished 3rd in his class out of nine vehicles and 45th out of 131 vehicles overall...
