So I just bought and Xbox 360 and with the exeption of grand theft auto san andreas, i can get all the other games on 360 that I have. But at the same time I have the first version of GTA:SA Should I keep the PS2 for only that game or should I just say the hell with it and get rid of it.

I originally had my PS2 set up right next to my PS3 (the 40 gig one that isn't backwards compatible) so I could still play the Guitar Hero franchise.

Then I bought Rock Band for PS3 and all bets were off. I took out my PS2 two weeks ago. It'll never see the light of day again.

Yeah i understand that. Maybe I will wait till tuesday and get the new GTA and see how much better it is. I mean hell I could always get GTA:SA on pc.

I've always liked SA the best so I understand where you're coming from. Honestly though once 4 is realeased next Tuesday, I doubt that you'll be that interested in playing SA for a while.

P.S. Why get rid of a PS2... do they bring that much money anymore?

Correct, but just like your PS2 version, you would have to get the Xbox version. It will play on the 360.

I still play my PS2, but only a few games. I like SA, but won't play it around my 3yrold, so there it sits.

If anyone wants to ship their PS2 to me, I'd take it. I had a problem with it locking up and determined it was the fan, swapped from a donor PS2 that has a bad drive and golden again.

I also sprung for the Component and Optical cables, which made a huge difference in the quality of the picture and sound. The wife bought me Socomm and when you hear things behind you, it just gets you that much more absorbed into the play.

Enjoy your new consoles, Games. I'll stay oldschool for a little longer.
