I have a 05 i just took it out on a coffee run in the rain.Its the first time i have had it in the rain and it spins the tires everytime i take off from a stop. Is it because of the new BF long Trails? Or the massive amount Horsepower?

You must use the force...or I should say not as much force on thy skinny pedal.

Well, LongTrails are some crappy ass tires and certainly contribute to the problem, but learning to better modulate the throttle will keep them planted until you can put some real tires on!

Using a lower gear and/or switching to 4x4 would also help.
But go easy on the gas pedal and you'll see some improvement!

It took me a while to get use to the gas pedal on my X. It is easy to spin the tires,especially when it is slick or gravel.

I would not use 4x4 on the asphalt if it only has rain on it. Save the 4x4 for snow/ice, and save your driveline from binding up.

Too much skinny... but its so much fun! I'm with ya, too much power!
