Any one heard about the release date for the 2009s? Anything new?

Time for me to send my 00 4x2 SE out to pasture...113k miles and worn out...

I don't think you'll see it until Sept and there are no rumors of a big upgrade. I doubt you will see anything like the 04 to 05 upgrade in horsepower etc.

Most Nissan models come out in Sept-Oct timeframe except for specific models like the Murano this year that is already 09'.

I thought the 09 was when they were going to make the next major upgrade, like maybe fixing the rear differential issue, and I would jump at a Diesel.

Negative...if Nissan does not kill the X it still won't be getting a diesel in the near term...Titan--maybe...but not the X right now...I am awaiting the NY auto show in March which is when Nissan is to unveil a # of new/refreshed products and I'm hoping for a surprise but not counting on it...if you are going to see an update to the X THAT will be when it is unveiled...

I can dream can't I?

Considering that the Gen1 lasted 5 model years, I would guess that any significant changes wouldn't happen until the 2010 model...
