Is it just me or is there no ashtray in the '05 ? Perhaps I am just looking to hard !!

There is no ash tray. Very few new automobiles have ashtrays anymore. I don't think that any nissans come with them.

Most people just flip there burning cigerettes out the window anyway so why waste money on them? Sorry its just one of my pet peeves so don't take it personally.

I don't smoke but always used it to hold smaller items like screws and fuses

i dont think that they are available for the 05 yet, but the previous models you can get one of the xterra parts.com. its like a cup with a lid that you put in the place of the cup holder.

That's true that many vehicles don't include it now. It was an option on my Jeep too. Seems to me it would have cost an additional $25 for the lighter and tray.
