Anyone else notice that this install probably COULD have been designed a slight bit better? No matter what, one or both of the panels are going to get squished in there, leaving gaping holes in the air path.

I was hoping for some sort of slide-in tray assembly, along the lines of how the 350Z air filters were done, but I guess not.

Due to my own carelessness, I snapped off the click-tab that locks the cover in place, so I need to get a replacement 8mm screw to hold the cover.

I'd love to see this redesigned on future models to make it a bit easier to replace.

I also busted mine on my 04. The filters fit in real tight so theres no need for the clip. They will not fall out on their own.

Wow, is it different on the '05? I have never had any problems replacing the one on my '02.
