Upon reading the local rag I came across an advertisment for the '07 X. It quoted the Hp. as 261. My '05 was sold at 265 hp. Is the hp being underated for insurance purposes? Or have the '07 really lost 4 nags? confused

Yeah, I heard about that.

You got too many horses. Screw up at the factory.

I'd take it back and get that taken care of . . .

It really does not matter how much is claimed. The rear wheel horse power is what matters.

I recently put my 05 thru the dyno runs at Cobb Tuning in Salt Lake city. It had 212hp to the rear tires. This was at 5800rpm, with 33" tires on stock OR rims. Torque peaked at a whopping 242 foot pounds.

I do have dual straight exhuast from the manifolds, no cats, to a pair DynoFlow mufflers. The motor is bone stock otherwise.
