Haven't been on the site in a while. Has anyone added a snow plow to their 05+ Xterra? Just wondering if I can keep my truck for the task?

Check your owners manual. In mine ('02) it specifically states you can not use a snowplow...

The reason I ask is that I found this company that makes one http://www.snowbearmountoutlet.com

I would love to hear if others have this brand or another and how it works. I just need to do my driveway (75 yards).

This topic gets discussed about every year at this time. There is a reason that all of the residental plow trucks that you see in the winter are 3/4 ton or larger. The weight of the plow on the front of the truck is pretty heavy, but it is the wear on the drive train and the rest of the truck that is what is bad. You would be better off just gitting the biggest snow blower that you can find. For the cost of a new blade you can either pay somebody to do it for you for a very long time, or get a well used plow truck with the blade already on it.

Or get an ATV with a plow.
