I own a 05 6 speed with around 66,000 miles. I have not had a problem with the vehicle until recently, now i can not figure out what is going on. The problem is I have a noise sounds like bad belts only this is coming from what I believe to be my transmission. The noise is made during reverse and in all other gears when engaging the cluth and letting of the gas. My question is, has anyone else had this issue? Im not sure if it is the clutch or not the reason being I still have plenty of grap and really no sliping... any help is greatly appricated thank you...

Sounds like a worn-out clutch. It may not be slipping but as it wears the material gets thinner to the point where the rivets that hold the material to the disk are now contacting the flywheel. Time for a new one.

Assume you have changed out the Gear Oil at 30k and just recently at 60k?
