Looking to buy an '04 SE, but not sure if it is supercharged. My dumb question, how can one tell if an '04 X-SE is supercharged or not? Is there something obvious on the name-plate or motor?

Are you going to be physically able to see the vehicle, or will you be searching for the model by phone or 'net where you may not trust the answer the seller gives?

I'm not an expert, but if you'll actually be looking at the truck, I would think that it doesn't get much more obvious than the big blower under the hood. Here's a quick link to a pic from an '02 review:

And yes, it does say "supercharged" on the back hatch, right next to "SE".

I guess I am the newest member of the club. I ended up buying it from the dealer. It is an 04 with 100 miles on it. Dealer knocked off $9K off the sticker and with my trade in I picked it up for $13K.

I went in looking at the 06 models, but am happy with my choice.

Easiest way to tell if it's supercharged is by popping the hood!

It does have the supercharged wheels and trim but the only way you'll know for sure is popping the hood like said.If your unsure what your looking for take a pic of the engine and we'll let ya know.

I believe the 2004 SE's came with the Supercharged wheels offered on the '02's.
