New member here. Not an Xterra owner-yet.

I’m currently living in the Middle East but I’m heading back to the USA in Sep for about 9 months, then onward to Mexico City for a few years.

Wife and I are avid scuba divers and mountain bikers so when researching a new vehicle, we thought 4wd. Throwing out all models without 4lo, with enough storage space for all our gear, keeping the cost below 25K, REALLY limited the field. Xterra certainly seems like the best of breed. Looking at an Off-road, MT.

Does anyone know when 07 models will be out? I don’t want one, I want to buy an 06 cheap!

Also, if anyone has some good ideas on bike racks, I’m all ears. Yes, I’ll search too – don’t want to get yelled at on my first day!
In the meantime, I’ll be waving the Nissan flag with my 1995 Micra!

I'm pretty familiar with the Middle East after three deployments there in the Navy. What country are you in?

As far as 07s go. I can only speak for last year and imagine it will be the same. I started seeing '06s in California around November with clearances on the '05s starting around early Dec. If fact, I just picked up an new '05 4WD 6SP Off Road three weeks ago for $24,600.
