Ok so I am a newbie to the board, been researching it for the past two weeks in my effort to buy a new X. Unfortunately I am not able to afford a new one at this time and all the used 05 and 06's around here are almost the same price as the new ones

Don't fret, I will have one by April (baby on the way, and wife doesn't like the idea of hauling a new born in an old jeep). And of course I agreed as she opened the door for me to buy an X

I am sure the 07's will be just as sweet as the 06's. Meanwhile, I'll drive my jeep around until April.

Great turn of events, if all goes well tomorrow I should be in a new X by the end of this week

3.5 days and counting...

Placed a deposit last night and got approved for financing.

Super Black, S, 6 spd, tow hitch, cargo cover, body molding, both floor mats (not sure why I need two sets but it comes with them), and of course 4wd and first aid kit. All for a grand under invoice and then they threw in the tow package.

They also halfed the extended warranty so I think I will take them up on it.

Now I can't wait to get my new rig

ok, less than 2 days left, and now it's a granite one. The couldn't get the black one so they asked if granite would be ok, same specs and even cheaper

I think I might drool on it when I step in to drive 'er home.
