Hey all....

Just picked up an 05 S....black with about 50K. I've been itchin' for an X for a LONG time - timing was right now. My wife and I just moved from TORONTO to San Diego. I figured what a great excuse to get an X to haul my bikes and (future) surfboard around.

I bought it from a dealer (I know, I know), and as part of the deal had them install new running boards and order the internal bike rack system. Some like it, some don't....I thought I'd try it out.

First order of business was to replace the crap-ass stock radio. I found a relatively cheap Kenwood DX302 (?) double din. Installed from Best Buy with the iPod hook up - total was about $300. Got the car on Weds night. Had the new deck installed tonight. So far...so good.

Next....seat covers, likely from courtesy-parts.

I hope you plan on taking that thing off road - if you do think twice about the step rails as they can cause damage on the rocks.
