Mike,
A 2X4 is a piece of wood. A 4X2 is a truck (almost).

there's a review of it on the review section of this website. from what i hear it's pretty good, nothing bad about it.
combined with the intake it's supposed to be a good bang for your buck.
dont' know about mileage though.

The 4x2 would run the same with the Calmini as a 4x4 would when in 2 wheel drive.
I got the Calmini then the Airaid intake a week later, can't go wrong with this combination, but I'd be lookin at an intake if you get the exhaust.

Think about it . with a intake and exhaust system you should get better gas mileage, better overall air flow less restriction. I have a Calmini exhaust I notice a little incerase when I got it on, I also notice that it dose not recoil as much when I let off the gas at high RMP's to switch gears . I have just recived my K&N cone filter and that should make the X preform better still I hope, dont talk my word for it check out the review I think there is gas mileage stats there to . Later Man

mike, i have a calmini exhaust with a jwt pop charger. they give little or no difference in city driving because i have to fill up my tank at the end of the week every week since i bought my vehicle. however, i see some noticeable difference on the highway. on a full tank (~19gal) i can drive from fayetteville, ark. to sherman, tex. with these add-ons, i can make it all the way to dallas, an increase from ~14mpg to ~17mpg. i'm impatient most of the time so i drive with a heavy foot.

I have the Calmini with a K&N filtercharger. I saw some improvement in gas mileage, but a definite improvement in sound. No more weak ricer, now it sounds like a truck. Thats my 2cents

Mike I got the Gibson from SLR and used to have the HKS Intake with it and the difference with and without the intake is minimal, I guess if you really want more then you have to get the SLR Headers together with cam and bore out throttle plate. Still happy with just the Gibson and might still add some K&N intake later on..

Why don't you have it anymore?

HKS is one of the most "affortable" intakes for an X. Granted, no heat shield, but I guess you could build one... but how ???

cool

The filter changes will be expensive in the long run and its look like it will be harder to make the heat shield for it too since the the shape is kinda odd..
