How many from Oregon want to start an "Oregon only" Forum? ...ME!

The PNW is too vast for me. I can't simply run up to BC for the weekend and go wheeling. And for that matter Washington too. Of all the websites I'm a member at, Oregon is always included in the PNW, but is never mentioned in those forums because it's all about Wash. and BC. No offense to you guys.

Well I am in Beaverton as are several other PNWX members plus more in the Portland area.

The Problem with Oregon is that there are damn few places to wheel. Tillamook is the only place in the NW part of the state. SO - if you don't travel to Washington you wheel in Tillamook until you get throughly bored with it.

That's pretty funny. 2nd post and he wants to change things. I think the Oregon side of PNWX is extremely active. You would not know because you are not a member of PNWX

Just a guess, but the whole Oregon Only, canada bashing thing may have influenced my imagination...

As an Oregon native, I'll do my quick reply, leave, and let you guys go at it with the newbie.

Anyone near the Eugene area able to get up into the Coburg hills area anymore? We used to take the old Scout up there when I was in my younger days. Last time I was up there was about 10 years ago and most of the trails were closed.

Was there any bashing going on?. My statement was to suggest you check out the members in PNWX as they have the knowledge of all the trails in Oregon, Who knows you might meet new folks with a ton of knowledge pertaining to the Xterra.

It wasn't really bashing, I was refering to T44E's signature line. "Canada Sucks" It does fit with his aparent desire to abandon B.C and Washington and just focus on Oregon. And the SMDC thing was just a guess. I have no idea who T44E is, or what he meant...

To my knowledge it has only gotten worse.
I haven't been there in quite a few years but have heard via the net the OHV area is currently closed to 4x4'ing.
